In the Proclamation of 1763 the British king made a law
that said the people could not go west ward. The reason is
because the Native Americans would attack the colonists
because they were afraid that the colonists would make
them leave the place they had lived in for ever. The king
tried to protect them but instead this law made the colonists
very mad because they thought that the king was tiring to
keep them penned by the ocean so they could be regulated
by the king.So most of them ignored the king and kept moving
to the west. The proclamation of 1763 was made because
nearly 2,000 people had died from moving west from the Indians
killing them. The king was tiring to protect the colonists. the
proclamation also establish four new colones named: Quebec,
East Florida and West Florida Grenada. These facts were
established immediately.
